Unity Funds the Community is a revival of the original nonprofit challenge. High Plains Bank initially created the challenge, and the Longmont Chamber of Commerce was excited to collaborate with them to create a more community-driven opportunity to recognize the work of our local nonprofits.
Five nonprofits have been selected from a pool of applicants to receive $500 of the Unity Funds the Community fund. These recipients (Able to Sail, Firehouse Arts Center, HOPE Longmont, and TLC Longmont) will then have the opportunity to receive an additional percentage of the overage in the fund by popular vote at Unity in the Community on August 23. The more money in the fund, the greater the award for each nonprofit. We would love your help in recognizing the work of our local nonprofit!
Join us on August 23rd as we celebrate Unity in our Community and be sure to put your Ping Pong Ball (received upon entry) into our slot to make a bigger impact!
