Wild Plum Center’s infant/toddler program provides a safe and nurturing environment where children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old can explore and learn. Low teacher-to-child ratios (1:4) allow for more individualized attention and support, fostering strong connections between caregivers and children.

The holistic growth of every infant and toddler is encouraged by incorporating activities that promote social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development. We believe that every child deserves access to high-quality learning experiences that are age appropriate and tailored to meet their unique needs. Wild Plum Center’s infant/toddler program implements the emergent, play-based curricula Beautiful Beginnings, supplemented by Storybook Journey.

Our qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educators have a strong understanding of infant and toddler development. Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities ensure that staff are continually growing and evolving, as well as up-to-date on best practices in the field of Early Childhood Education. Educators routinely monitor each child’s development, ensuring that families are engaged and included in the process. Conferences and home-visits are completed with families throughout the year, providing a structured opportunity to discuss their child’s strengths and areas for growth. Wild Plum Center recognizes that establishing collaborative partnerships with families is essential for children’s lifelong learning and success.
